A member of my staff has a problem with her eyesight which requires the use of Supernova magnification software. This worked OK until her eyesight deteriorated further and a disability assessment suggested that we purchase a 16:9 screen.

However the Alto/Supernova combination does not work with wide screens - all other applications magnify to the required proportions, but Alto refuses to magnify. We have also tried installing Windows 7 and using its magnification capabilities but Alto just stays at full screen size.

It seems to us that Talis's user-facing applications (Prism etc) are adaptable for visually impaired users so are fully DDA compliant, but Alto fails in that in needs expensive add-ons to meet DDA requirements.

Thoughts anyone?
