A question for Talis really - are there any plans to improve the type of management info currently available via Talis Message. We can get successful renewals via BO but it would be useful to know if we get many hangups, how many people opt to transfer to a member of staff, unsuccessful renewals etc.

Hi Carol,

Talkingtech have relased a report module which improves on the management information that can be gained directly from Talis Message. It gives details of
· Total number of callers.
Measure over a day, a week or compare with last month.
· Caller volume patterns.
Find out when callers are using the system and what are the busy times and days of the week.
· Total number of item renewals.
Find out how many items were renewed using Talismessage over a day, week or month. Also, see reports on how many renewal attempts were declined.
· Transfer requests.
Records the total number of calls that were transferred to your call centre, library help desk, operator or other branch libraries.

This information is gathered without having to run a seperate B.O. report. Please let me know if you think this will help.

Just had our AM visit - and yes it is - I think about £3,000 plus usual annual maintenance! :(

:oops: Sorry - should have said that the (approx) cost of £3,000 was also for the module allowing us to modify the script - eg to add a message that the system is down etc.
