I’m pleased to announce that the Union database (UnionM21) is now fully up to date with all contributions and it is being updated dynamically. This complete Union database was put live on the evening of Tuesday 13th september 2011.

If you are using the Union Preview database (UnionPrevM21) please switch to the new Union database, as we will be withdrawing the Union Preview in the near future – we’ll let you know via lis-talis as soon as we have a date.

If you have any issues please let us know by opening a support case.

We are seeing continuing use of the Union Preview database (UnionPrevM21) by a large number of customers. Could you please switch back to using the re-built Union database (UnionM21) and remove UnionPrevM21 from your configured databases.

You will need to edit the settings for ALL in Configure Alto to remove Union Preview, as well as deleting it as a separate target.

If you look in Configure Alto > Targets/Attributes, find the entry for ALL and click on the Edit button, you will see something like this in the Connection field:
talisbase.talis.com:210/UnionM21+UnionPrevM21+BDSAllM21+BLConM21+CramerM21+DawsonM21+LCAllM21+LCComM21+LCMapM21+LCMusM21+LCSerM21+LCVisM21+NLMAllM21+PetersM21+RemployM21+TSOM21

Edit this string to remove ‘UnionPrevM21+’, and it will no longer be included in your searches of ‘ALL’.

The Union Preview database will be withdrawn on the evening of 8th November 2011.
