Has anyone got experience of setting up Plescon self-issue machines to issue short loans?

We issue ours into 3 hour booking slots (9-12, 12-3 etc.) but, for some reason, the plescon machines are issuing these items until the next day.

Any ideas most welcome!
Chris

Hi Chris,

Could you check that you have TAL_BOOKING_INTERCEPT set to YES in the plescon.cfg file.

Regards,
Steven

Hi Chris,

By restarting the self-issue machines, do you mean you also re-started the server? I think that this needs to be done for the change to take place.

If you did, could you check that you have set up all the required parameters around booking-filter-item types to specify the item types that should go through, etc?

And if you think that those are all set up correctly, could you send me the barcode of an item that you think should have have its due date calculated through the chart slots by sip2. My colleague Zak will then look at the log and check.

Regards,
Steven

I'm pleased to report that this is now resolved.
As well as a Plescon.cfg file we also had a self1.cfg, self2.cfg etc... which the start.slfis scripts were looking at. In fact the plescon.cfg was a red herring really!
By changing these files and running the start scripts the changes took effect.
Many thanks,

Chris.
